1. Application 

The following general terms and conditions apply to all goods deliveries between TOASTER CABLES and the customer. Deviating terms do not apply. 

2. Minimum order value 

There is no minimum order value. 

3. Payment 

Payment must be made before dispatch of the goods to you. We accept advance payment or payment by PayPal/credit card.

1. Advance payment: After placing your order you will receive all information necessary for transferring the amount payable to our account. The customer is obliged to transfer the payment within a maximum of 5 days of ordering.
2. Credit card: By selecting the Credit / Debit Card service you may also pay by Visa or MasterCard. All personal data will be transmitted using SSL encryption.

4. Prices / VAT 

Our prices are inclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated. Within Switzerland VAT is 8.1%. Delivery abroad is tax-free. Toaster Cables reserves the right to price changes at any time.
Additional Taxes and Fees can occur with orders from outside Switzerland.

5. Shipping costs 

For each order we charge a delivery fee which is shown in your shopping cart. If we must split an order into several packages for technical reasons, we naturally only charge the shipping costs once. 

6. Delivery 

We deliver by post or parcel courier service, generally within a few days. Please keep in mind though that our products are not mass-merchandise and we therefore cannot always guarantee short delivery times. In such a case we would inform you and, if required, deliver the goods by instalments. 

7. Default of acceptance 

Should the customer – blameless or not – fail to accept delivery of the goods, we will charge the customer for any costs incurred. 

8. Warranty and defects 

We vouch for our products and thorough service in every case: from the invoice date onward for two years we take care to meet any warranty claims.
Obvious defects including transport damage must be reported to us immediately, or at the latest within 14 days of receiving the goods. Hidden defects and defects that appear later must be reported to us immediately after their discovery, or at the latest within 14 days of noticing them. At our discretion we will either repair deficiencies free of charge or deliver an equivalent replacement. In case we are not able to provide replacement or repair deficiencies within a reasonable period, you are entitled to cancel the purchase or demand a reduction of the purchase price. Please keep the item available to us. 

9. Limitations of liability 

Claims for damage liabilities, irrespective of their legal reason (fault in contractual negotiation, breach of secondary duty, unlawful act and other statutory claims) are excluded. We are not liable for damages not caused to the delivery item itself, in particular not for indirect damages, lost profit and other financial losses of the customer. Furthermore we are not liable for delayed deliveries. The exclusion of liability does not apply to cases of deliberate or gross negligence on our part. Because our products are not mass-merchandise, they may differ slightly from the product images and descriptions, for which we are also not liable. 

10. Return rights 

Should you dislike a delivered item, you may return it within 14 days of receiving it (this only applies to the standard range of products and if they are in unused, perfect condition and in our original packaging – specially tailored items and custom-made products are understandably excluded). Goods shall be returned at your own risk and expense. Please stamp/prepay the parcel sufficiently. We will compensate for credit resulting from your returning an item or you may use it for another order if you wish. Even after expiry of the 14-day period we are available to you in case of annoyance or trouble – you can always talk to us. 

11. Data protection

We store your address and ordering data to process your order. Your data will be handled confidentially and not given to third parties unless necessary for order processing (e.g. credit verification). Your rights are protected under the Swiss data protection law. 

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction 

The contracts concluded with us are subject to Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of jurisdiction is the District Court of Zürich (ZH). We are also entitled to take legal action at a court of the domicile of the defendant or any other statutory place of jurisdiction.
